To enhance international cooperation, align training with practical industry needs, and expand career opportunities for students, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) hosted a strategic networking meeting with the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (KOCHAM). The event took place in a formal yet open atmosphere, focusing on long-term collaborative orientation.
The program was attended by leaders from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the International Relations Department, representatives from KOCHAM Vietnam, faculty members of Oriental Studies, and a large number of students specializing in Korean Studies.
During the session, KOCHAM representatives provided an overview of the Korean business community in Vietnam and discussed human resource demands within the context of international economic integration. They also highlighted essential requirements for graduates, including language proficiency, professional soft skills, and a deep understanding of Korean corporate culture.

On the university's side, DNTU leaders introduced the academic orientation of Oriental Studies, with a strategic focus on Korean Studies. The curriculum aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice, meeting the rigorous demands of both domestic and international enterprises.
Both parties discussed potential cooperation in several key areas:
-
Internship & Practicum Placement: Connecting students with hands-on corporate experiences.
-
Career Seminars: Organizing dialogues and networking events between businesses and students.
-
High-Quality Human Resource Development: Collaborating on specialized training to build a skilled workforce.
In addition to cultural exchanges, the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (KOCHAM), alongside sponsor LG VINA Cosmetics, presented meaningful gifts to Korean Studies students.
These practical contributions reflect KOCHAM’s commitment to supporting the development of a workforce proficient in the Korean language and culture. More importantly, they serve as a powerful motivation for students to strive for excellence in their academic and professional skills. This gesture further strengthens the bond between Korean enterprises and DNTU, reinforcing the shared goal of integrating education with real-world application.
