Recently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) held an engaging meeting and career guidance session for 10th-grade students at Bui Thi Xuan High School.

For students who have just entered high school, identifying their interests and career direction early on is key to making their studies more purposeful and effective. Recognizing the importance of early career orientation, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, in collaboration with the DNTU Admissions Center, provided students with practical and valuable insights to help them better understand themselves, explore future career opportunities, and make informed choices for their educational journey.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CAREER GUIDANCE SESSION 

• Discovering Students’ “Career Fit”: Students took part in interest-based assessments designed to help them better identify their personal inclinations, strengths, and language aptitude.
• Decoding Career Trends: DNTU lecturers provided an in-depth overview of the job market in the digital era, highlighting the growing importance of foreign languages—including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean—in combination with soft skills and technological competencies.
• Experiencing a “Mini University” Environment: Bui Thi Xuan students joined interactive English-language minigames, engaged directly with DNTU lecturers and senior students, and had their questions answered about the university’s modern learning environment. 

The career guidance session not only gave 10th-grade students a comprehensive overview of their personal development journey throughout their three years of high school, but also inspired them to take the initiative in developing their foreign language skills from today.
