On the morning of August 26, 2026, at Hall A, the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Dong Nai University of Technology (DNTU) successfully organized a specialized workshop entitled “Chinese Communication and Cultural Insights.” The session offered students valuable academic insights, broadening their perspectives and enabling them to explore the deeper dimensions of the Chinese language.

The program was honored to welcome representatives of the leadership of both institutions, along with a large number of lecturers and students from the Chinese Language program.

At the opening of the program, Hall A came alive with a series of captivating welcome performances featuring the distinctive blend of language and music. The performances were presented by talented young students from DNTU’s Faculty of Foreign Languages, together with two NTCUST interns:

During the workshop’s keynote session, Professor Chang Chun guided students on a journey to uncover the cultural nuances embedded in every word and expression. Going beyond the boundaries of conventional grammar and communication skills, the professor offered fresh and practical perspectives by decoding the “Cultural Code” behind the language, helping learners gain a deeper understanding of native speakers’ ways of thinking, psychology, and unspoken social conventions.

The atmosphere in the hall grew even more vibrant during the discussion session, as DNTU students raised thought-provoking questions about cultural differences and social barriers. The questions were met with insightful, satisfying, and often witty responses from the speaker.

In addition, the presentation highlighted the art of using language flexibly, as well as the ability to recognize subtle nuances in intonation and context to enhance students’ natural language responsiveness. These practical skills serve as valuable “real-world” preparation for international integration, helping students overcome psychological barriers and confidently connect in both international academic settings and multinational corporate environments.

The event concluded with a warm group photo featuring the organizing committee, speakers, lecturers, and students in attendance. The “Chinese Communication and Cultural Insights” workshop not only provided valuable knowledge but also inspired students with renewed enthusiasm, marking a memorable milestone in fostering connection and international exchange as DNTU Foreign Language students continue their journey of mastering languages.
