WORLD HERITAGE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FORUM 2026 IN SOUTH KOREA

The Faculty of Foreign Languages is pleased to inform our students and alumni about the "World Heritage Young Professionals Forum 2026." This is a prestigious international platform dedicated to young individuals passionate about the conservation and promotion of heritage values.

1. General Information

  • Theme: "World Heritage, Communities, and Education: Empowering Youth as Agents of Change."

  • Duration: From July 13 to July 21, 2026.

  • Location: South Korea.

  • Participants: 30 delegates selected worldwide.

2. Program Highlights

Delegates will participate in a series of dynamic activities, including:

  • In-depth discussion sessions, workshops, and site visits to World Heritage properties in South Korea.

  • Discussions on the role of communities and education in sustainable heritage conservation.

  • Presenting the Youth Declaration at the 48th Session of the World Heritage Committee.

3. Eligibility and Requirements

  • Age: 23 to 32 years old (born between 1994 and 2003).

  • Professional Background: Currently active in fields such as Education, Heritage Management, Research, or working with NGOs related to heritage.

  • Competency Requirements: Proven experience in World Heritage and full English proficiency to engage in professional dialogues.

  • Commitment: Ability to participate in the entire duration of the forum.

4. Program Benefits (Fully Funded)

Successful candidates will have all expenses covered by the organizers, including:

  • Round-trip airfare (economy class).

  • Accommodation and meals in South Korea.

  • Local transportation for program activities.

  • Visa fees (if applicable).

5. Application Process and Deadlines
