DNTU FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES WELCOMES DELEGATION FROM NUEVA ECIJA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: EXPANDING THE GATEWAY TO INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
On the morning of May 5, 2026, at Meeting Room 2 of the DNTU Library, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Dong Nai Technology University warmly welcomed a delegation of lecturers and students from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. The visit marked another significant milestone in the university’s efforts to promote educational internationalization and strengthen the spirit of friendship and cooperation between the two institutions.
The meeting was held in a formal and cordial atmosphere, with the participation of key representatives from both institutions.
Representing Dong Nai Technology University were Dr. Nguyen Minh Thien, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi, Vice Head of the International Relations Office; along with lecturers and staff members of the Faculty.
Representing Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology were Ms. Pauline Joy Reyes Gelacio, lecturer, and student representative Roselyn Encarnacion Cañega, who served as the voice of the Filipino student delegation.
Opening the program, Dr. Nguyen Minh Thien delivered a warm welcome address, emphasizing that the visit of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology delegation was a great honor and a promising step toward broader and deeper cooperation in the future. The guests were then invited to watch introductory videos highlighting the history, achievements, and dynamic learning environment of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Dong Nai Technology University.
In an inspiring sharing session, Ms. Pauline Joy Reyes Gelacio and student representative Roselyn Encarnacion Cañega expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by DNTU and conveyed their strong desire to further promote cultural exchange activities between the younger generations of Vietnam and the Philippines.
During the discussion session, representatives from both institutions exchanged ideas on several key initiatives, including:
- Developing in-depth academic and faculty exchange programs.
- Organizing cultural exchange activities and short-term internship opportunities for students.
- Sharing experiences in teaching methodologies and scientific research in the context of globalization.
The program concluded on a meaningful note with a souvenir exchange ceremony, symbolizing the mutual respect, friendship, and growing partnership between Dong Nai Technology University and Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology.
As the program came to a close, both sides reaffirmed their confidence in building an increasingly strong and sustainable strategic partnership. Dong Nai Technology University expressed its hope that every member of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology delegation had gained memorable and inspiring experiences during their time in Vietnam.
