DNTU EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: PROMOTING CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
Recently, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) held an official meeting and working session with Prof. Liang Wei Ge – Director of the Confucius Institute at Hebei University, China. This visit not only strengthened the friendly relationship between the two institutions but also opened new doors for DNTU students to access valuable international scholarship opportunities.

Within the framework of the working session, DNTU leaders and representatives from the Faculty of Foreign Languages held a cordial meeting with Prof. Liang Wei Ge. Both parties engaged in academic exchange and deep discussions regarding the vision and cooperation strategy between DNTU, Hebei University, and the Confucius Institute. This event stands as a testament to DNTU's strong spirit of internationalization, aimed at providing a high-quality learning environment and connecting students with advanced education systems worldwide.

The most notable highlight of the visit was a Talkshow specifically organized for students majoring in the Chinese Language. During this session, Prof. Liang Wei Ge directly shared invaluable insights. Within the framework of the working session, he provided a comprehensive overview of the Confucius Institute’s extensive global network. In particular, the lessons and experiences from international branches, notably the Malaysian model, were shared as a 'guiding compass' for implementing similar cooperative frameworks at DNTU.

Multinational Connectivity: Exploring how international branches operate to create a diverse cultural exchange environment, helping students not only master the language but also gain a deep understanding of global mindsets.
Lessons from Malaysia: Prof. Liang Wei Ge emphasized the success of the collaborative model between the Confucius Institute and Malaysian universities in standardizing curricula and organizing international Chinese proficiency exams (HSK).
Local Adaptation: Experiences from neighboring countries highlight the importance of integrating international standard curricula with the practical demands of the labor market in each specific region.

Beyond providing general information, the Professor directly "unlocked" the secrets to help DNTU students confidently conquer prestigious scholarships from the Confucius Institute at Hebei University. This was considered the most valuable part of the program, drawing special attention from Chinese Language students.
Building a "Golden" Portfolio: The Professor provided detailed guidance on highlighting personal strengths, from achieving HSK/HSKK certificates to participating in extracurricular activities and culture-related community projects.
Strategic Learning Roadmap: Students were encouraged to define clear short-term and long-term goals, focusing on training critical thinking and the ability to use language flexibly in intensive academic environments.
Leveraging DNTU Resources: Students should maximize the support from the International Relations Department and Faculty of Foreign Languages to stay updated on full and partial scholarship opportunities.
