DNTU FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES WELCOMES AND HOLDS WORKING SESSION WITH DELEGATION FROM NATIONAL TAICHUNG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (NTCUST)
Aimed at expanding international cooperation, enhancing educational quality, and creating diverse learning opportunities for students, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) officially received a academic delegation of professors from National Taichung University of Science and Technology (NTCUST, Taiwan) on August 25, 2026. The exchange and discussion mark a key milestone in advancing strategic collaboration in higher education and language instruction between the two institutions.
Delivering the opening remarks, PhD Candidate Tran Thi Phuong Thu, Vice Dean of the DNTU Faculty of Foreign Languages, extended her warmest welcome to Prof. Chang Chun and Prof. Tsai Shih-Feng. Dr. Nguyen Minh Thien emphasized the vital role of international cooperation in an era of global integration, while highlighting DNTU's strategic development direction, modern learning environment, and academic standards.
Expressing gratitude for DNTU's warm hospitality, Prof. Chang Chun, representing the NTCUST delegation, conveyed his honor and lauded DNTU’s dynamic development. He presented an overview of NTCUST—one of Taiwan's top-tier prestigious universities—and outlined key areas for potential collaboration between the two institutions.
During the in-depth discussion session, representatives from both sides agreed to advance targeted collaboration across key focus areas:
- Faculty and Student Exchange: Facilitating opportunities for DNTU Chinese Language students to participate in short-term and long-term study abroad, articulation, and exchange programs at NTCUST.
- Teaching Practicum and Professional Development: Expanding specialized internship and student-teaching programs while enhancing professional development for academic staff.
- Joint Research and Cultural Exchange: Co-hosting international academic conferences, collaborative research projects, and immersive cultural experience programs for students of both universities.
Concluding the successful working session, representatives from DNTU’s Faculty of Foreign Languages and NTCUST engaged in a formal gift exchange ceremony, memorializing the burgeoning strategic partnership between the two institutions.
Immediately following the discussion, the NTCUST delegation toured the DNTU campus, visiting its eco-friendly grounds, modern classrooms, smart library, and student activity spaces. The visiting professors praised DNTU’s state-of-the-art facilities and highlighted the dynamic learning spirit of the Foreign Languages students.
The working visit of Prof. Chang Chun and Prof. Tsai Shih-Feng concluded with great success, paving the way for expanded international learning and practical experiences for DNTU Foreign Languages students in the near future.
